Alê Jordão began his professional artistic career in 2001 and since then has defined a complex and powerful body of work, both materially and conceptually.
His work is the result of exploring the field between art and design.
During his career, he has participated in solo and group exhibitions nationally in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Salvador and Fortaleza; as well as internationally, in Paris, Milan, Rome, Florence, London, Munich, Stockholm, Brussels, Ibiza, Los Angeles, Miami and New York.
The artist and his work have received several awards, such as Best Brazilian Contemporary Art Concept - MUBE, 2002; Rome Contemporary Art Award - Guiseppe Selvage, 2002; Salone Satellite - Milan, 2008; and sculptural Artwork - Rome Bienalle, 2013.
