Celina
Celina Decorações was founded by Celina Zilberberg in 1951, when her son Munis Zilberberg took over the family business - a small upholstery workshop in Rio de Janeiro that worked on refurbishing antique furniture, and transformed it into a chain of serial wooden furniture stores specializing in Jacaranda, as well as a series of customizations to their furniture to suit the interior projects they themselves offered their clients. Celina Decorações also produced furniture for offices and hotels, and took advantage of the growth of the sector in Brazil to gain a foothold in the market, consolidating the factory in the corporate environment and among the Brazilian middle class.
