Domingos Tótora is born and raised in Maria da Fé, a town in Minas Gerais in the Mantiqueira mountains.
He studied in São Paulo and, back in his city, chose cardboard as the raw material for his work - which moves between art and design.
Domingo's habitat for expression and experimentation is home to his roots and emotional ties, as well as his main source of inspiration: Nature.
By recycling cardboard, the artist creates objects and sculptures where beauty is inseparable from function. He gives art status to simple everyday items.
