Steel coated internally in brass and externally coated with Brazilian Ipê
In the year of 2017, Ronald Sasson, a brazilian designer from Curitiba, was awarded the 2017 Design Awards. Sasson was recognized with the Kansai Bench, a piece thought and conceived from bamboo baskets with loose edges that resemble frayed weaves. The sinuous shapes of the furniture are lined internally with brass and externally with ipe sheet.
Kansai we have is one of a kind, as it is the only one that sasson made with a completely wooden coating (without the yellow metal in the photo)
