Born in Iasi, Romania in 1919 and graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Architecture at the National University. He arrived in Brazil in 1956, settling in São Paulo. In 1958 he decided to manufacture furniture for his decoration projects and, later, for his Adorno stores. From 1964 he dedicated himself to the international market, exporting to 22 countries. His Jangada armchair, created in 1968, is recognized for its originality in the use of nylon netting and was awarded in 1991 by MOVESP. Over the years, he founded the Cidam and Woodart factories and provided services to Italma, Village and Probel. In 1992 he received the title of Professional of the Year from ABD - Brazilian Association of Interior Designers.
