A store set up in São Paulo in 1952 by a group of former Mackenzie University students interested in producing furniture that suited modern spaces. The team was made up of Miguel Forte, Jacob Ruchti, Plínio Croce, Roberto Aflalo, Carlos Millan and Chen Y Hwa. As well as furniture, the store offered fabrics and lamps. Combining woods - rosewood, ivorywood, caviuna - with other materials - iron, glass, marble, fabrics - Branco e Preto furniture was produced by hand and in small quantities, where it operated until 1965.
