Alê Jordão started his professional artistic career in 2001 and, since then, he has defined a complex and powerful body of work, both materially and conceptually. His work results from the exploration of the field between art and design. During his career, he participated in individual and collective national exhibitions in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Salvador and Fortaleza; as well as internationals, in Paris, Milan, Rome, Florence, London, Munich, Stockholm, Brussels, Ibiza, Los Angeles, Miami and New York. The artist received the following awards: Best Brazilian Contemporary Art Concept - MUBE, 2002; Rome Contemporary Art Award - Guiseppe Selvage, 2002; Salone Satellite - Milan, 2008; and sculptural Artwork - Rome Bienalle, 2013.
